Dr. Smita Joshi

Dr. Smita Joshi has been practising Homoeopathy for over 23 years. She completed her BHMS from D.S. Homoeopathic Medical College, Pune, followed by an MD in Homoeopathy from MUHS, Nashik.
She has also completed an MA in Clinical Psychology from SNDT University, Mumbai, along with three levels of Hypnotherapy training from the California Hypnosis Institute (EKAA), Mumbai.
Her multidisciplinary academic background has shaped her particular interest in understanding the physical, emotional, behavioural, and developmental aspects of children’s health.
Child Care & Therapy at PRANA
At PRANA, Dr. Smita looks after Child Care & Therapy, working with children and families across a range of developmental, emotional, and behavioural concerns.

She has also conducted workshops addressing the importance of age-appropriate sexual education during childhood in schools across Pune.
Academic & Educational Contributions
Dr. Smita has remained actively involved in Homoeopathic education and professional development.
She regularly conducts lectures for Homoeopathic students and practitioners through The Other Song Academy, Mumbai, as well as at PRANA.
She has also conducted seminars focusing on the role of Homoeopathy in the management of ADD/ADHD-related concerns.
Her ability to combine clinical experience with academic teaching has made her an active contributor to Homoeopathic education.
Editor & Health Communicator
Dr. Smita has also served as the editor of the PRANA Magazine, an annual publication featuring articles by doctors on specialty-based Homoeopathic care.
She has been invited as a guest speaker by organisations including the Rotary Club Kothrud and the Poona Club Women’s Association, where she has shared her perspectives on Homoeopathy and health.
Hospital Experience
For the past 10 years, Dr. Smita has worked as an Honorary Consultant in Homoeopathy at Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital, Pune.
This experience has contributed to her broader clinical perspective and continued engagement with multidisciplinary healthcare.
